Hotel Giulietta E Romeo - ורונה

אהבתי את מקומו המרכזי של המלון ברחוב שקט. השרות, ארוחת הבוקר, החדרים המשופצים בטוב טעם, נקיים ביותר ורחבים, מתן אנפומציה מועילה בדלפק הקבלה גם שלא שאלנו כדי ששהותנו תהיה נעימה ותחסוך לנו כסף.

למרות שהזמנו חדר גדול ועבורו שילמנו כ 200 ארו ללילה במקום כ 140 ארו לחדר סטנדרט נתנו לנו חדר רגיל וקטן. החדר היה איום ונורא!!! לאחר ויכוח ארוך עם נציגי המלון ולאחר שנציגת המלון טענה שאין להם חדרים פנוים נמצא להפתעת כולם חדר מתאים יותר. מדובר בהנהלת מלון גרועה שמעונינת לתת כמה שפחות. לא ללכת לשם.

Everything. From the moment of arrival to departure, the service was first class. Like a home away from home. Fantastic location.

Nothing except leaving!

The staff were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, bringing us up hot water for tea when we came in cold after a day of walking around in December and storing our luggage for almost an entire day after we checked out. I also appreciated the email we got the week before we were scheduled to arrive which provided information about how to get to the hotel and what was going on in Verona that week.

For a little confused trying to find the hotel once we reached the arena on the bus, there is a sign if you walk the long way around the arena but I ended upheaval to go almost the entire distance around as I missed the street in my first pass.

The location was excellent.

While it was a very good location and the room was modern and functional it lacked charm.

The room was really too small, especially for this price category.

The location was perfect.

The electricity and air conditioning went out intermittently. This was a bit annoying, although the staff attended to it quickly. (However, after either or both were fixed, they would go out again...)

We found there all that we needed and more than we expected.We hope to be there the next year for the same reasons.

Location was convenient to all key sites in Verona; price was reasonable; all bathroom fixtures other than the tub/shower were new and attractive.

Staff was not welcoming and generally unhelpful; bathroom tub needed replacement, with the drain plug filthy and non-functional; tissue dispenser was broken; elevator was too small to comfortably accomodate two passengers with normal amounts of luggage; breakfast selection and service was unremarkable.

Location is perfect to enjoy the old town

The hotel is hard to find and parking is expensive at the hotel. Area parking availability is sporadic.

Fantastic helpful staff. Lovely comfortable rooms. Fantastic location- only meters away from the arena. Free bikes to borrow so you can really get to see the whole city.

Wonderful experience! We got upgraded to a Superior room for 15€ and it was definitely worth it! Very clean, spacious room with a balcony overlooking a quiet side street. Very close to all sights and shopping/restaurants. Easy to walk everywhere and only about a mile from the Verona train station.

The location is marvelous, the rooms new and clean (it is a modern hotel). The breakfast selection was delicious and there was a barista dedicated to making real coffee. Bicycles were offered free and this allowed to travel all over the city to see the sights.

The walls between our room and the next were very thin. We could hear every snore and more besides (this hotel is known as a honeymooners hotel). Something a bit strange happened with our check-in in that we were offered a cheap deal on an upgraded room. We were shown the larger room and when we asked to see the original they dropped the price of the upgrade further. I still wanted to make the comparison and then they said we could have the upgrade for free as they didn't have the original room available. I'm not sure if the original room might not have been quieter.

Verona is a beautiful place to visit. Steeped in history, fabulous buildings, shopping, food and central to visit other places - e.g. Milan, Venice, Garda etc.

The hotel staff were very welcoming, polite and helpful. The hotel is very well situated and a great base. Breakfast very good, however, I would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The location was perfect, just minutes away from the roman theater and close to shopping and restaurants.
